
Xun Sun entered into the management consulting industry after he graduated in 2004 with an MBA from University of Michigan. He was with A.T. Kearney and the Monitor Group, where he found his passion in management consulting. He has made great client impact by not only managing projects well, but also developing million-dollar business from his client with multiple projects. Clients trusted him so much that he becomes irreplaceable to them. All of these are achieved in just 4 years!
Prior to Michigan, Xun worked at Nokia in product, marketing, and service functions for 4 years. Xun also holds M.S. in double E from Chinese Academy of Sciences and B.S. from Tsinghua University

Alex Jiang is a seasoned marketing professional in China. Most recently, he was an Associate Account Director with Ogilvy & Mather. A start performer, Alex is member of Ogilvy Beijing’s “Star Program”, an 20-person exclusive group hand picked by top management from over 500 employees in the firm. In 2007, Alex left China to pursue his MBA at Harvard Business School, where he has successfully obtained summer internship in 2008 with Mayfield Fund, one of the top VC firms in the world.
Alex received a Master’s degree in English with focus on American studies from Foreign Affairs College in 2002 and was an active student leader.
Kai-Fu joined Google in 2005 to develop the companys operations in China, and now he heads the Greater China operation as its President.
From 1998 to 2005, Kai-Fu was at Microsoft as a corporate vice president responsible for advanced natural language and user interface technologies. He also founded Microsoft Research Asia, which has since become one of the best research centers in the world. From 1996 to 1998, Kai-Fu was president of Cosmo Software, a subsidiary of Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI). There he was responsible for several product lines and the companys web strategy. Before joining SGI, Lee spent 6 years at Apple Computer, most recently as vice president of the companys interactive media group, which developed QuickTime, QuickDraw 3D, QuickTime VR and PlainTalk speech technologies.
In addition, from 1988 to 1990 Kai-Fu was assistant professor at Carnegie Mellon University, where he developed the worlds first speaker-independent continuous speech-recognition system. This system was selected as the "Most Important Innovation of 1988" by BusinessWeek. While at Carnegie Mellon, Kai-Fu also developed the computer program that plays the game "Othello," which defeated the human world champion in 1988.
Kai-Fu holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Computer Science with highest honors from Columbia University. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.
Scott Cai re-joined SAIF in August 2007 and is currently Associate with SAIF. Before going for Harvard Business School, Mr. Cai was an Investment Analyst with SAIF. Prior to that, he worked as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney in Beijing for 3 years.
Mr. Cai holds a BS in Finance from the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Christina Yu became Greater China Human Resource Director at Dow Chemical Corporation in 2007. She has been a Ventures Development Manager at Dow Chemical since 2006, advising the company’s M&A activities in China. Prior to that, Ms. Yu was senior manager in investment relations at United Airlines. Based in its headquarters in Chicago, Ms. Yu was the core team member in directing financial restructuring at United Airlines.
Ms. Yu has rich experience in both US and China and has a deep understanding on corporate needs for talent. She is also directing Dow Chemical’s leadership program in the greater China region
Ms. Yu received her MBA from Chicago Graduate School of Business and B.A. English and B.A. in Industrial Engineering from Tianjin University. Christina is a CPN member

Yiren is one of the top performers in Johnson & Johnson Medical China and is now in charge of mutliple provincial markets. He has rich experience in Johnson & Johnson Medical and Nike in sales and marketing functions.
Yiren received his MBA from Michigan Ross School of Business and joined Johnson & Johnson Medical China after graduation. He is currently in rotation to Compliance function and will return to sales related functions a year later.

Kevin is a veteran professional in supply chain and is currently Asia Pacific Supply Chain Manager at Air Product and Chemical Inc., a leading player in atmospheric gases, process and specialty gases, performance materials, and equipment and services. Before joining Air product, Kevin was a global supply manager at Dell Computer based in China. Prior to that, Kevin held senior positions in supply chain in various technology and service companies

Stella Yang joined TPG Growth in July 2006 as an executive director. As one of the core members of the North Asia investment team, Ms. Yang has responsibility for sourcing, evaluating and executing investment opportunities across various fields such as technology, media, retail, consumption, bio-tech and industry, etc. in China.
Prior to joining TPG, Ms. Yang was a Partner of Reed Elsevier Ventures, whose parent company is the largest publishing group and the 5th largest media group in the world, a listed company on stock exchanges in UK, US and the Netherlands. Ms. Yang led the formulating and executing of China investment strategy focused on media, publication and technology. She also worked closely with senior executives of the corporate and business units to develop and execute joint investment initiatives in China.
From 1999 to 2005, Ms. Yang was an Executive Director and a member of the Management Committee of ChinaEquity Investment Co., where she had primary responsibility for different stages venture capital and portfolio management in hi-tech, media and telecommunication industries. She actively advised a number of domestic and international companies on corporate strategy, business development and financing initiatives. Prior to joining ChinaEquity , Ms. Yang worked for Morgan Stanley Asia Ltd. from 1996 to 1999.
Ms. Yang has been core members of investments in companies including Agria Corp (NYSE: GRO), U-you TV Homeshopping, Huayi Brothers Media Group, Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU), LongShine (acquired by Amdocs / NYSE: DOX), Rising, ChinaCast Communication (NASDAQ: CAST).
Ms. Yang holds a BA degree from Nanjing University and an MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and HKUST.
Edward Zhou is the Director of New Horizon Capital. He was the former Funding Member and Director of Qiming Venture Consultation (Shanghai) Co .Ltd. Before that, Edward was once the Senior Manager of Corporate Business Development in CISCO (CHINA). Between 2004 and 2005, he was responsible for the Cisco’s strategic investment in China.
With his many years of experience in corporate BD and investment, he brings new perspectives to the team. This will help us find new opportunities in our chosen areas of investment and enable our new investees to enjoy the synergy with our existing portfolio. Edward graduated from Kellogg School of American Northwestern University with his MBA Degree and graduated from Shanghai JiaoTong University with Master Degree in computer science.
Carla Edelston, Senior Associate Director at the Career Management Center, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, has been a career counselor for 18 years. During that time she has advised hundreds of students on every aspect of the job search process. She has created and led career education workshops on a variety of topics including self assessment, resume writing, interview skills, and networking.
She has also conducted individually video-taped practice interview feedback sessions and has planned a series of workshops to help international students with cross cultural issues that relate to recruiting.
On the corporate side she has helped to support positive relationships with employers across all industries with a focus on consulting and pharmaceutical/medical devices and biotech firms.
Carla was a board member of the MBA Career Services Council for 5 years.
Dr. Yu-Sheng Zheng is Professor of Operations Management at CKGSB and serves as Associate Dean of the School. He is also Professor of Operations and Information Management at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has taught at undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. levels.
His research interests include inventory management, supply chain management, manufacturing operations, service operations and financial models. Most of Dr. Zheng’s research results have been published in world’s leading academic journals. He has been an associate editor of Operations Research and Management Science for many years, and also served on the editorial board of Manufacturing and Service Operations Management. He has provided consulting service to numerous multinational companies such as IBM, Teradyne Inc, Voice of Europe, Corporate Decisions, Inc. and Vanguard Group. Dr. Zheng is a frequently invited speaker at major international academic and industrial conferences.
